Thanks to the generosity of the local community, over £192,000 was raised mainly through our share offer launched in 2023, towards the aim of purchasing The Centurion Pub, to secure it as a community asset on 21st October 2024.

This was also only made possible due to a government grant of £250,000 from the Community Ownership Fund. We are extremely grateful for the personal time many volunteers and supporters have contributed to this project.
